Hi Sébastien, you can pronounce 1/2 as 이분의 일. However when it’s with the counter 개, it’s common to just say 반 개. 반 literally means ‘half’. ^^

Hi! That’s just a pronunciation rule, there is no reason for it. ^^ By the way, when it’s followed by consonant ㅇ, the ㅂ is pronounced with the vowel next to the o. For example, 넓어요 is pronounced like 널버요, not 널어요.
