During this holiday season, you’ll get to know Korean Culture better. Christmas is a national holiday in Korea, and you will see Christmas decorations, Santa Claus, and a Christmas tree or two around Seoul during the festive period.
A lot of Christmas traditions are celebrated in South Korea as well. Just like other countries celebrating Christmas, Koreans also greet their friends and loved ones with a happy and nice Christmas and wish each other the best Yuletide greetings.

You can form this greeting with the words ν볡νλ€ (haengbokada), which means “happy” or “blissful,” andΒ “Christmas,” which, as you’ve learned above, translates to ν¬λ¦¬μ€λ§μ€ (keuriseumaseu).

Suggestions:
– Romanized pronunciation guides would be more helpful with hyphens and explicit syllables. For example, for method #1 above, I wasn’t sure if “bonaeseyo” is pronounced any mixture between “bon-ay-say-yo” or “bone-eh-seh-yo”.
– Please include quick audio/video guides so we can slowly hear the pronunciation of each syllable of each word.
Great, thanks for the suggestions. ^^
